James Seidelin, his

Universe of Memories

James lays down his life on the canvases like one bites into an apple. Don't we say “one apple a day, keeps the doctor away”? Therapy, outlet, release, creativity. It is a whole, made of softness and violence, colors and depths.
This autodidact leads you into his universe, hyperactive, hypersensitive, with all his expat experience of the sun from the South to the East.
Half-English, half-Belgian, this mixture of cultures and this ‘Multi’ life give it an additional dimension, Borderline.
Epicurean of life, bulimic of love and sharing, he gives himself up to you, all in finesse, trying to make your thirst for life vibrate.

James presents a series of abstract works in which reality turns into illusion depicting fleeting images and memories of emotional lives. He explores colors, textures and light using mainly shades of blue, red, orange and yellow.

A parallel universe appears. Perhaps a universe of memories represented in a blurred way, the work being enveloped in an intimate atmosphere reflecting at times light, beauty and harmony at others.

James'' journey through the paths of color is an aesthetic feast and a visual experience.
